rava idli recipe, easy to make with only 3 ingredients, also known as suji idli. made from rava or suji or semolina.

- BLACK GRAM/URAD DAL/उरद दाल - 1 CUP
- SEMOLINA/RAVA/SUJI/रवा/सूजी - 3 & 1/2 CUP
- SALT/नमक.
METHOD:
- take 1 cup URAD DAL
- soak urad dal in water for 1 to 2 hrs
- blend urad dal with 1 cup water in a mixer into a fine paste
- consistency of urad dal should be thick
- Now, roast 3 and 1/2 cup RAVA on a pan on medium flame for 2/3 mins
- after the rava is roadted, let the rava cool down
- after the rava is completely cooled down, transfer the rava in a container
- add water and wash rava with water once
- now, we will mix rava and urad dal paste together, until well combined
- washing rava with water will allow us to mix the rava and urad dal without any lumps,
- add 1 cup of water, the batter should be thick,
- once the batter is well combined, keep it aside to ferment
- let the batter ferment for 6/8 hours
- after 6/8 hrs of fermentation, add salt and mix well again,
- now, grease the idli stand with oil, or any other small bowl,
- place the steamer on medium flame and
- and place the stand inside the steamer
- and let it steam for 3/4 mins on medium flame
- After, 3/4 mins, remove the idli stand from the steamer,
- let it cool down for 3/4 mins and remove the idli from the stand,
- OUR IDLI IS READY TO SERVE!
