DOSA - METHI DOSA - MENTHYA DOSA - by AroundTheKitchen
INGREDIENTS:
- Meethi seeds - 3 tsp
- Rice (raw) - 4 cups
- Cooked rice - 2 cups
- Salt .
Method to make batter:
- soak METHI SEEDS and RICE (raw) for 4 hours in water.
- After 4 hours, grind soaked methi seeds, rice(raw) and cooked rice, separately, into a thick paste.
- mix all the three paste together,
- cover the batter with a lid and place it in a warm place and let it ferment for about 8 to 10 hours.
- after 8 to 10 hours of fermentation, add 1 tsp SALT and mix the batter well.
- Batter is ready to use now.
HEAT THE TAVA, POUR 1 LARGE SPOONFUL OF BATTER ON THE TAVA
AND
SPREAD THE BATTER INTO A CIRCULAR MOTION
ONCE YOU SEE THE BUBBLES OVER THE DOSA, FLIP IT OVER
THE BACK SIDE OF THE DOSA SHOULD HAVE GOLDEN BROWN COLOUR ON IT
ONCE YOU SEE THAT,
OUR DOSA IS READY TO SERVE!
Delicious we can also add jaggery
