BANANA DOSA - by AroundTheKitchen




INGREDIENTS:

RICE
1 & ½ CUP
BANANA
2
COCONUT(optional)
½ cup
SALT
1/2 CUP



METHOD:

  1. RINSE/WASH/SOAK RICE IN WATER FOR 3/4 HRS OR OVER NIGHT
  2. REMOVE THE RICE FROM THE WATER
  3. IN A MIXER, GRIND THE SOAKED RICE, COCONUT & SALT,
  4. ADD 1/2 CUP WATER TO THE MIXER & GRIND INTO A PASTE
  5. ADD BANANAS
  6. AND GRIND IT INTO A FINE PASTE
  7. BATTER SHOULD BE THICK
  8. TRANSFER THE BATTER TO A CONTAINER
  9. ADD 2-3 TBSP WATER TO THE BATTER & MIX WELL
  10. PLACE THE BATTER ASIDE FOR FERMENTATION FOR 3/4 HOURS
  11. AFTER THE BATTER IS WELL FERMENTED 
  12. HEAT A PAN, POUR LARGE SPOONFUL OF BATTER ON THE PAN
  13. ONCE YOU SEE THE BUBBLES RISE, SPRINKLE OIL OVER THE DOSA
  14. AFTER A MIN, FLIP THE DOSA AND 
  15. LET IT COOK FOR ANOTHER 1 MIN ON THE PAN
  16. OUR DOSA IS READY TO SERVE
