vegetable pulao recipe

this is a quick and easy vegetable pulao recipe, easy to make and can be made instantly at home.


INGREDIENTS:

  1. Rice (cooked) - 3 cups
  2. Ghee - 1 tbsp
  3. Fennel seeds - 1 tbsp
  4. Cashews - 10/12
  5. Cinnamon - 3
  6. Cardamom - 3
  7. Cloves - 4
  8. Nutmeg powder - 2 pinch
  9. Green chilli - 2
  10. Bay leaf -1
  11. Green peas (par boiled) - 1/2 cup
  12. Carrot (par boiled) - 1/2 cup
  13. beans (par boiled) - 1 cup
  14. Salt - 1/2 tsp

METHOD:
  • In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of Ghee,
  • after the ghee is hot enough, add bay leaf,
  • add fennel seeds and roast for 30 seconds,
  • add cinnamon, cardamom and cloves,
  • add cashews and roast for 1 min,
  • add green chilli,
  • now add all the vegetables & salt and roast for another 1 min,
  • after 1 min, add 1 cup of rice and mix well,
  • after mixing the rice add the rest of the rice and mix well,
  • cover the pan for 2 mins on low flame,
  • after 2 mins, add nutmeg powder and mix again,
  • Vegetable Pulao is ready to serve!
