Sabudana Vada - साबूदाना वडा




INGREDIENTS:

  1. Sabudana/साबूदाना वडा - 1 cup
  2. Boiled Potato/बटाटा - 1
  3. Green Chilli/हरी मिर्च - 2
  4. Peanut powdered/शेंगदाना - 3 tbsp
  5. Sugar/चीनी - 1 tsp
  6. Salt/नमक - 3/4th tsp
  7. Lemon Juice/निम्बू का रस  - 1 tsp
  8. Jeera/जीरा - 1 tsp


METHOD:

  1. Soak the sabudana overnight. ( 1 cup sabudana soaked in 1/2 cup water),
  2. In a bowl, take 1 cup of sabudana
  3. add boiled and mashed/grated potato,
  4. add finely chopped green chillies
  5. add peanut powder (peanuts are first roasted and the powdered)
  6. add sugar and salt,
  7. add lemon juice 
  8. and finally add jeera
  9. mix everything well together
  10. once everything is well combined, make small vada
  11. heat oil in a pan to deep fry,
  12. once the oil is hot enough, fry the vada until golden brown in colour
  13. once the vadas are golden brown in colour, our Sabudana vada is ready to serve.
