ALOO SABZI

INGREDIENTS:
- oil/तेल - 1 TBSP
- Mustard Seeds/rai/राय - 1/2 TSP
- Cumin/Jeera/जीरा - 1 TSP
- Asafoetida/हींग - 1/4th TSP
- Green Chillies/हरी मिर्च - 2
- Curry Leaves/कड़ी पत्ता - 5/6
- Turmeric/हल्दी - 3/4th TSP
- Boiled Potato/बटाटा - 3 LARGE (HALF COOKED)
- Salt/नमक - ACCORDING TO TASTE
- Red chilli powder/ लाल मिर्ची - 1/2 TSP
- Garam Masala/ मसाला - 1/2 TSP

METHOD:
- Heat a pan on medium flame,
- add 1 TBSP OIL,
- once the oil is heated, add 1/2 tsp MUSTARD SEEDS/RAI
- after the mustard seeds starts spluttering, add 1 tsp CUMIN SEEDS/JEERA and let it splutter,
- add ASAFOETIDA/HING
- now add slit GREEN CHILLIES and chopped CURRY LEAVES
- saute for a few seconds and add 3/4th tsp TURMERIC POWDER
- now add in the POTATOES (Half cooked) and mix well
- cover with a lid for a min with a lid
- after a minute, add 1/2 tsp RED CHILLI & GARAM MASALA POWDER and mix well
- cook for another minute and serve.
