INGREDIENTS:

  1. oil/तेल                                     -        1 TBSP
  2. Mustard Seeds/rai/राय            -        1/2 TSP
  3. Cumin/Jeera/जीरा                   -         1 TSP
  4. Asafoetida/हींग                       -          1/4th TSP
  5. Green Chillies/हरी मिर्च          -          2
  6. Curry Leaves/कड़ी पत्ता          -          5/6 
  7. Turmeric/हल्दी                       -           3/4th TSP
  8. Boiled Potato/बटाटा              -           3 LARGE (HALF COOKED)
  9. Salt/नमक                               -          ACCORDING TO TASTE
  10. Red chilli powder/ लाल मिर्ची -          1/2 TSP
  11. Garam Masala/ मसाला            -          1/2 TSP

METHOD:

  1. Heat a pan on medium flame, 
  2. add 1 TBSP OIL,
  3. once the oil is heated, add 1/2 tsp MUSTARD SEEDS/RAI
  4. after the mustard seeds starts spluttering, add 1 tsp CUMIN SEEDS/JEERA and let it splutter,
  5. add ASAFOETIDA/HING
  6. now add slit GREEN CHILLIES and chopped CURRY LEAVES
  7. saute for a few seconds and add 3/4th tsp TURMERIC POWDER
  8. now add in the POTATOES (Half cooked) and mix well
  9. cover with a lid for a min with a lid
  10. after a minute, add 1/2 tsp RED CHILLI & GARAM MASALA POWDER and mix well
  11. cook for another minute and serve.
