Rava Cake in Pressure Cooker by AroundTheKitchen
INGREDIENTS:
Rava/Semolina/रवा - 180 grams
Sugar/शकर - 150 grams
Baking powder/बेकिंग पाउडर - 2 tsp
Curd/दही - 90 grams
Oil/तेल - 90 ml
Milk/दूध - 120 ml
SIMPLE SUGAR SYRUP:
Water/पानी - 1/2 cup
Sugar/शकर - 3 tbsp
METHOD:
- In a Bowl, add Rava/Suji/Semolina
- add powdered Sugar & Baking powder
- these are our dry ingredients
- now add all the wet ingredients
- add CURD, OIL & MILK
- mix all the ingredients well.
- Our batter is ready
- Grease Baking Mould or line with Parchment
- add the batter to the mould
- In a Pressure cooker, place the cooker plate at the bottom of the cooker or place salt
- Bake the batter in a Pressure cooker for 20/25 mins on medium-high flame
- to bake the cake in oven place the mould in oven for 20 mins to 200 degree C.
- Insert a tooth pick into the cake to check if the cake is ready
- After the cake is baked and ready, sprinkle Sugar Syrup over the cake
- this make the cake moist
- to make SIMPLE SYRUP
- add 1/2 cup of water and 3 tbsp SUGAR
- bring it to a boil and set it aside.
- our cake is ready to serve
