Rava Dosa - instant rava dosa recipe for breakfast
INGREDIENTS:
rava/रवा दोसा - 1 cup
rice flour/चावल का आटा - 2 tbsp
salt/नमक - 1/2 tsp
green chilli/हरी मिर्च - 1 (as required)
black pepper/काली मिर्च - pinch/as required
ginger/अद्रक - 1 tsp chopped
cumin/जीरा - 1 tsp
cashew/काजू - as required
water/पानी - 3 cups.
METHOD:
1. in a bowl, add 1 cup of rava & 2 tbsp of rice flour
2. add salt, green chilli, black pepper, ginger, cumin and cashew,
3. add 3 cups of water and mix well to make a batter,
4. for 1 cup of rava the water will be 3 cups,
5. heat the tawa and apply oil/ghee to grease the tawa,
6. once the tawa is heated, take spoonful of batter and pour it on the tawa,
7. remember - mix the batter well before pouring on the tawa so that the rava does not settles down in the bowl,
8. cook for 2/3 mins,
9. when the dosa is half cooked, sprinkle some oil/ghee.
10. when the dosa turns light brown in the centre the dosa is ready to serve.
